Now is the time to go on to Indiegogo
The crow funding campaign for BREW: The Museum of Beer is live on Indiegogo! Indiegogo is a site that allows business and projects like ours to gain national media exposure, and to find our audience of early supporters. We will be raising money to fund the next phase in development for BREW.
Now is the best time to make your contribution
Early contributions have a much greater impact on a campaign than later ones do. They are seen as a sign of momentum and likely success of the campaign, generating greater attention and more donations. So, if you are thinking about contributing, please do it now.
Own a piece of the BREW history
Head on over and check it out. If you like the cut of our jib than please pledge for a thank-you reward. We’ve got some awesome BREW swag to recognize the founding supporters of BREW. You! Help make Brew: The Museum of Beer happen.
Spread the word
The most important factor in crowdfunding campaign success is word-of-mouth. So please, spread the word to your beer drinking and beer brewing buddies and let’s make sure we put this museum on the map.

I was interested in making a contribution through indiegogo.com, and am wondering what the rendering at the $40 level might look like. Would you have an example to show?
If you go to BrewMuseum.com/beerstuff you will see the rendering near the top of the page.
This is a great idea, I’ll be supporting the museum before and after the grand opening! Good luck!
Hello,
Excited to see this & have no doubt it will be a huge success! My (3x) great uncle was Edward Frauenheim who started Pgh Brewing Co. Recently found out that his mother Regina largely funded the construction of St. Augustine’s church a few blocks from the Pgh Brewing building in the late 1800s. It’s still a very vibrant, active church - everything came full circle when I found out that St. Augustine is the Patron St. of Brewers! Pretty cool.
The history of beer is the history of America . Hoping you get it right with due honor of its noble history (and not so noble) and attract genuine Americana artifacts for a national education of immigration , argriculture, hospitality, labor, law, health and marketing.
Good luck and Cheers ( not the tv show)
The history of America and the history of civilization as a whole-there is so much to tell!
I’m all for a beer museum and I hope your fund raising goes well, but I have a small criticism of this website itself. The font must be changed. It is very hard to read and decreases the ability of the website to communicate to its audience.
Thanks Will, we will work on it.
Hiya, Brew folks! I just read the article about how this AMAZING museum is this close to becoming a reality and I am beyond excited. I have lived in Pittsburgh my entire life (born & raised) and I can’t imagine a more welcomed addition to this city than this National Beer Museum. Also, I have always supported endeavors such as this as best as I can… and I would absolutely love to do the same in this instance.
I am a graphic designer and would be honored to, in some way, be a part of this process and design posters, ads, website related items… anything and everything! I am now and will always be a lover of all things beer and I want to help. If the design aspect does not pan out, I am still going to do what I can to assist in the growth of this truly awesome idea. I have already put fourth my financial support of the upcoming WAM! Whiskey of America Museum and I am ready for the next big chance. I am all in!
Thanks Brandon, the biggest way to help right now is by spreading the word-Indiegogo crowd funding starts on October 18.
As a member of the local group Pittsburgh Beer Ladies, I’m so “brewed” about this project . Good luck and I’ll be following along until its fruition or shall I say beerition!
Thanks Debbie, we much appreciate the support of you and the Beer Ladies.
Great idea! I’m a homebrewer and lover of craft beer. Have to respect the older breweries too.
Their history is important also. Will be following your progress.
Absolutely Nick, we will cover the whole 10,000-year-old story of beer.
