Our Team

Brew is a ground-up venture. We want to have broad-based input and involvement in this project. We welcome your ideas, your talents and your time. Please feel free to reach out to any of us.


Dr. Joe McAllister

Dr. Joe McAllister founded The Autism Center at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and developed programs there that were replicated internationally. McAllister was also the founder of the Advisory Board on Autism and Related Disorders(ABOARD), which today is known as Autism Connection of PA and has 12,000+ members. McAllister established a private business, Services for Children with Autism and Their Families, which was acquired by The Watson Institute. He was recruited to develop the Department of Psychological Services at Watson, where he served as the Director from 2000 to 2013. In this role, he developed innovative programs, oversaw a $5 million budget, managed a staff of 70+, secured State and County funding, established post-doc training programs and recruited trainees


Tim Steinouer

Tim Steinouer is a Pittsburgh-based creative consultant and media producer.  A 25-year veteran of the entertainment industry, Tim began his career on feature films, television series and commercials.  In 2001, he began producing multimedia for exhibits and attractions.  Since 2007 as President of Design Island Associates he continues to creatively develop projects for museums and special venues around the nation. In addition to his role at Design Island, he is also a board member of the Mt. Lebanon Partnership in Pittsburgh’s South Hills.


Rachel Rampa

Rachel Rampa’s career began as the Assistant Registrar for the Carnegie Museum of Art and the Henry Art Gallery in Seattle, WA after earning a degree in Art History and Italian Literature at the University of Pittsburgh.  During that time, she managed internationally renowned permanent collections, organized exhibitions, and worked on both the 1995 Carnegie International Exhibition and opening The Andy Warhol Museum.  Rachel’s current role in communications and community outreach, and on the Board of Directors for the Strip District Neighbors, enhances her passion for serving Pittsburghers and this incredibly unique city.  She is also thrilled to tap back to her roots in collections management with the Brew family.


Paul Young

Paul Young is the brewer for BrewDog of Pittsburgh. He graduated from the University of New Orleans in 2005 with a film degree. He has spent his professional career working in documentary film, owning and operating a home beer and wine making supply store and as a professional brewer. He curated the Louisville Brewseum in Louisville, Ky – a mobile exhibit covering 200 years of beer history, and has taught hundreds the joy brewing their own beer. Paul has created and overseen events teaching team building, promoting the importance of support for local business and fundraising. He enjoys traveling, hiking, good beer and food and, especially, learning the ways the lessons of our history shape the present and design the future.


Debbie Stueber

Debbie Stueber is a Sr. Customer Service Representative with an international electronics manufacturer. She is a “one-person Pittsburgh welcoming committee;” she “adopts” newcomers and enjoys sharing her zeal for our region and helping people feel more at home in their new surroundings. As the daughter of Holocaust Survivors, Holocaust education is paramount to her and she shares her parents’ story at public venues. Debbie tapped into craft beer after attending Craft Beer School in Pittsburgh. She enjoys trying new beers and brewery hopping in Western PA and beyond. Debbie is an active member of Pittsburgh Beer Ladies and excited about women’s involvement in the industry.


Denis Meinert

Denis Meinert has over 25 years of experience as an entrepreneur and financial executive. In addition to serving as a financial adviser to Brew, Denis is the Head of Finance for Duolingo. Denis served as CFO of 4moms from 2011 to 2013.  He was also CFO and a Principal for H.B. Maynard and Company (acquired by Accenture in 2007), and as CFO for Hire for companies including CMU spin-offs reCAPTCHA (acquired by Google in 2009) and Blue Belt Technologies (acquired by HealthPointCapital in 2011).  Currently he serves on the board of Pittsburgh Habitat for Humanity, and was the Board Chair from 2013 to 2015.  He also served as the Council President of O’Hara Township for eight years, and led the Fox Chapel Area Youth Basketball league for eight years.  He enjoys time with his family and trying and tracking new beers through UNTAPPD.
